My journey back to myself began with a quiet return to ceremony — a soft, deliberate shift that unfolded during my transition through perimenopause.
In that season, I found myself craving stillness. Tea became my anchor — a daily ritual that reminded me that softness isn’t weakness, it’s wisdom. Every pour, every scent, every sip became a meditation — a moment of alignment between my body and my spirit.
What began as a private act of restoration soon revealed a deeper truth: that ceremony is how we come home to ourselves. From that realization, I felt called to create a sanctuary that carried that same essence forward- a place for women moving through their own sacred shifts to rediscover presence, grace and their own rhythm.
This calling became Modestine® — a luxury wellness tea brand crafted for women who desire ritual, softness and refinement. each blend honors the evolving rhythms of womanhood and transforms everyday moments into something intentional and deeply personal.
To honor this work, I earned my certification as a Tea Sommelier with the International Tea Masters Association (ITMA), studying under the guidance of a Buddhist tea master whose teachings shaped both my palate and my philosophy. This journey refined not only my expertise but also my reverance for tea as ceremony - as both medicine and art.
I created Modestine to be a soft landing for the modern woman. A sanctuary where where ritual meets refinement... A place where wellness is sacred again.

One thing I yearned for after migrating to the U.S. from Grenada was the soul-affirming nourishment of sisterhood—connection that is deeply woven into my Caribbean roots.
The dark days of perimenopause illuminated a truth: women need sacred spaces to reconnect with themselves, their truth, and each other.
That is why I created this corner of calm—because we all deserve a sanctuary that sees us through every shift.
I believe in the life-giving, soul-restoring power of traditional healing:
drumming, women’s circles, sacred ceremony, ritual, tea meditation, and plant medicine.
These practices aren’t trends—they are timeless tools to support women through perimenopause, transition, and the sacred unfolding of womanhood.

My years of holding space for women to realign with their divine power and purpose are deeply rooted in the teachings of our matriarch, Grandma Modestine—a revered elder, healer, and community medicine woman.
Modestine® was born from her legacy—woven with the wisdom of the land, ancestral rituals, and the sacred strength of women who came before us.
As a guide and herbalist, Grandma Modestine taught women to honor their bodies, their stories, and their cycles through tea meditations, healing circles, and plant-based ceremony.
She believed community was the first medicine—and collective energy could transform everything.
Today, that same sacred knowing flows through every sip, every ritual, every offering. It is this devotion to heritage and refinement that has brought Modestine international recognition -honored by LUXlife Magazine as Best Women's Luxury Wellness Gift 2025.

The rich ancestral teachings of our Matriarch laid the foundation from which Modestine® was born.
As the founder, I carry that blueprint—having been immersed in ancestral healing from a young age.
As a tea sommelier, I live in devotion to my roots and the sacred feminine lineage I come from.
Our stories are medicine. When we share them, we offer healing—not just for ourselves, but for each other.
