Winter Rituals to Try This Season

These cold winter days often bring a search for connection and warmth to the center of our thoughts. As women, a search for self may also be tugging for our attention in the midst of busy holidays and end of year reflections.

Citrus Bath

Prepping a hot bath with sliced lemons and oranges is a rejuvenating experience. A combination of aromatherapy and hot water is a peaceful way to end your day. Bath time may also be enhanced with a new book ready for you to read or ambient sounds to soak in the “Me Time.”

Candlelight Meditation

While setting dinner tables for guests and hanging decorations around the house could be pleasant, sitting down in candlelight to meditate is a treat. Breathe in the silence and allow yourself to focus on your present moment. Meditative practices look different for everyone, so spend some time trying different meditations until you find one that works for you this season!

Indoor Garden

With the addition of wreaths and trees in the home, you might have considered the possibility of having plants present in your home more often. Studies have recently shown that caring for plants may also benefit one’s mental health, which is all the more reason to start an indoor garden. We’re sure Google can help you find easy starter plants, but we recommend starting with Eucalyptus or Lavender due to the aromatherapy benefits!
